Achievement: For The Horde (Failed)

Just as I logged in I must have gotten 3 whispers to join a group for For The Horde!. Seeing as I love achievements (and kind of hate the alliance), I had no choice but to accept.

We started out good. But things went bad quickly when we tried to kill King Magni Bronzebeard in Ironforge. After one failure at something like this you can forget about even tring it again. Half of your group drops, and half of the alliance are there ready to defend the city.

But there was a few successful acheivements for me:
Putting Out the Light
Immortal No More
Know Thy Enemy

And some failures:
For The Horde!
Storming Stormwind
Death to the King!

Duo Ulduar's Dwarfageddon Achievement

This isn't related to my priest, but on my mage I was able to obtain the Dwarfageddon and Heroic: Dwarfageddon Achievements with a friend of mine.

After looking on youtube there is a video I found using the same method we used: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJJlbU381aI. Be sure to check out some of the other videos on how to solo it if you can't find a friend to come help you out.

Achievement: Stratholme and Scholomance

Ran through both of these places for the achievements. 

Bonus from Scholomance: Piccolo of the Flaming Fire. Which is, in my opinion, one of the best trinkets in the game.

Achievement: Stratholme 10 pts.

Total: 450 pts.

Ensidia got Yogg-Saron +0 Just Now

Looks like Ensidia is the 4th guild to get the amazing Realm First! Death's Demise. Check out the screenshot below for proof. Grats Ensidia, You guys rock!



Now for the little bit of drama surrounding this. 15 People gquit after the mount was awarded to Eoy according to this screenshot below. Grats Eoy on your awesome new mount.

I won Ensidia's Contest

I won a brand new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 video card by winning phase 2 of Ensidia's contest. I should be getting the card in the mail soon. So maybe I'll have some better screenshots soon, maybe (dare I say) even clean up my UI a little while I'm at it.

Phase 2 is over now. But that doesn't mean you still can't win one of these awesome video cards for yourself. Phase 3 has recently begun with a new theme: "Your Favorite Spot". There's only a few days left, so get crackin' on it now.

The theme for my Phase was "Epic Win" and below is the comic that earned me a new video card.



The priest in the comic is Yuricaine - The character this whole blog revolves around.
The death knight is Murricane - My bank alt.

Healed Auchenai Crypts for the first time.

My Goal is 4560 Achievement Points

I've seen the light (pun totally intended). Playing my priest is way more fun than my mage. But one reason I love WoW is all the very fun challenges achievements provide. I need to get at least the same amount of points my mage has to truly be able to call my new priest my main.

Healed Old Kingdom for the first time.

Achievement: Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom 10 pts.
Total: 420 pts.

Achievement: Azjol-Nerub

Healed Azjol-Nerub for the first time.

Achievement: Azjol-Nerub 10 pts.
Total: 410 pts.

Achievement: Level 70

I finally hit 70!

Achievement: Level 70 10 pts.

Achievement: Friend or Fowl?

An achievement for killing 15 turkeys in 3 minutes. This was an easy and fun one. Without a doubt the best place to kill turkeys is in Howling Fjord. There are at least 15 turkeys in one spot with a fast respawn timer. Check out this wowhead.com map for Fjord Turkey's for the exact location.

Achievement: Friend or Fowl? 10 pts.

Healed The Nexus for the first time.

Achievement: The Nexus 10 pts.

Achievement: Utgarde Keep

Healed Utgarde Keep for the first time.

Achievement: Utgarde Keep - 10pts.

Achievement: Sethekk Halls and Mana Tombs

With the help of a very good friend I obtained the "Sethekk Halls" and "Mana Tombs" Achievements. I also hit level 68 after turning in a couple of related quests.

Total: 360 pts.

My New Blog - Undead Holy Priest

I'll be using this blog to track my achievements in World of Warcraft. I have recently rolled an Undead Priest, and plan on leveling him to 80 quickly. I already have an 80 Mage, but got sick of the monotony of pure DPS. At the time of writing this I currently have 340 achievement points.

I love achievements! Plain and simple. I will post screen shots of my progress. Please excuse the messiness of my UI.

This is my priest entering outland for the first time. While not an "official" acheivement, it certainly was quite an exciting time for me.
